20 Mule Team Borax Review

Hi lovelies!  I am back again with a review about 20 Mule Team Borax!  Now Borax is not a product that you always hear lots about but it is a product that my family has be using for years!  If you don't know about Borax let me fill you in:
  • Borax is 100% natural mineral from the Earth.Borax is the common name for sodium tetraborate-a naturally occurring substance produced by the perpetual evaporation of seasonal lakes. Once removed from the ground it is washed, dried, and boxed for consumers. There is nothing added to it!
  • Borax naturally softens hard water. Hard water affects the cleaning of your clothes!
  • Borax also boosts your detergent.  All you have to do is add 1/2 cup of Borax to every load.  It will help keep stains from being re-deposited back onto clothes (yucky)!

Now along with it's great laundry boosting properties there is something else I use Borax for and that's fleas!  I know, sounds crazy right?! but whenever we have had a flea problem in our carpet, couches, rugs, etc we put down the Borax and leave it for a few days and then vacuum it up.  It has always helped us get rid of any infestations we may have had.  I hope that tip helps someone.

Check out Borax's page here: www.20muleteamlaundry.com

Purex Baby detergent review

Hi lovelies!! As you know, I have been trying and reviewing for Purex Insiders for a while now and I love it!  Recently I was chosen to try and review Purex Baby detergent.  You might think to yourself, while Karen you don't have a baby anymore; and yes you'd be correct but I have a 7 year old daughter and a husband that is allergic to many detergents so this product still had a use for me!  Purex Baby detergent delivers the same bright, white clean that regular Purex does but it has a gentle baby-inspired freshness that everyone can enjoy!  It is dermatologist tested and can be used in all washers.  The only issued I could find with this product is that it is not carried in every store.  With all that said I washed my entire families clothes with this product and noticed everything came out clean and fresh.  My husband who breaks out when I use different detergents had no breakouts at all.  I know if we expand our family I will use Purex Baby detergent to wash all those cute clothes, blankets, sheets, and towels that will come into contact with that precious baby skin.  Check out their site at: www.purex.com/products/detergents/baby
If you would like a chance to win a free bottle of your own I'm going to give it to you.  Here are the rules for this giveaway!
1. Leave a comment with your favorite baby product!
2. For an extra entry follow me on twitter @karen4667 and tweet me!
That's it simple and easy!
Ends 1/28/13

Covergirl Blastflipstick Review

Hi y'all!  I wanted to let you know about Covergirl Blastflipsticks.  I got to try 3 of them from Bzzagent.  They are unique lipsticks that have 2 colors in one tube.  You can use either color by itself or blend both together to get a 3rd unique  color.  For that reason alone I think they are a fabulous idea!  Some things that I also loved was the long wear, the color payoff, and the feeling of nothing on the lips.  All of these things make me love this flipsticks and I would suggest you check them out.  There are 13 flipsticks to choose from.  Let me know if you try them and what you think.

Dial Complete Foaming Hand Wash

Happy Holidays ladies and gents!  Well I'm sure we've all been really busy getting ready for the holiday season.  The holiday season is also known as the germ season and about 3 weeks ago my daughter and I were so sick.  I don't know what we had but we had it bad!  So when I got a chance to review Dial Complete Foaming Hand Wash I was estatic!!
There are 4 cheerful designs to choose from.  I got the snowman and the candy cane bottles to try.  These bottles are filled with Dial Complete's antibacterial foaming hand wash.  This formula kills 99.9% of germs which makes me happy just thinking about!  We've been using the soap for over a week and my entire family likes it!  It has a pleasant smell that is not overwhelming.  One pump dispenses a nice amount of foam not like some of those other brands that one pump makes a mess all over the sink.  My 7 year old daughter wants to wash her hands all the time just because she likes the snowman packaging.
I really like this product and intend on stocking up!  Let me know if you have tried Dial Complete Foaming Hand Wash and what you thought.  Let's all try to stay germ free this holiday season!
