I've Got an App for That!

I love that phrase "I've got an app for that!"  and I really do have an awesome new app for all your laundry needs.  Purex Laundry Help is a new FREE app that is compatible with IOS and Android!  I was really impressed by this app and it takes a lot to impress me.  It is fun and colorful and ran fast on my phone.  There are 9 buttons within the app.  I took a pic to show you from the "Stain Guide" button.  If you ever had a stain that you wanted to know how to get out this thing is AMAZING!  There is even a "Label Decoder" that helps you understand those pesky labels that tell you how to care for your garment. Happy Labor Day!

Hi everyone!!! I wanted to wish everyone a happy Labor Day!  My family had the most amazing summer ever but we are ready for fall with cooler temps and football ;). Now I do have a question....do you continue to wear white after Labor Day?? I just want to know what you think so leave a comment below. Have a great day!!

What's for dinner?

Tonight I tried an easy yummy recipe I wanted to share!!

4 pork chops

Flour 

1 cup picante sauce

1 apple peeled and sliced

2 tablespoons brown sugar

I put flour on the pork chops and browned them for 10 mins. 

Mixed the picante sauce,apples, and brown sugar in a bowl. 

Drained any fat from the pan. Then added the mixture to the pork chops and cooked covered for about another 20 mins till they were done!  

That's it!!! Simple,easy, and yummy!!! I found the recipe on Campbell's.com. Let me know if you try it!!!

Just wanted to say HAPPY FRIDAY Y'ALL!!  I hope everyone had an awesome week.  My little one started 2nd Grade this week and I'm happy to report the week went extremely well!  Take care!

Purex Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar & Stain Remover

So I just got back from vacation.  We stayed with my parents for a bit. Besides getting to spend time with them a great perk of being there was I did not have to cook!!!  Well I'm back to reality.  Yesterday I made ziti with red sauce and meatballs.  It was pretty good, if I do say so myself, and then it happened!  SPLAT!!! I missed my mouth and fed my shirt! :)  I had this small red mark from a stray ziti noodle on my shirt.  Now it was an old shirt so I was not too upset, but still felt annoyed that I ruined another shirt with a sauce mark. I started to accept that this shirt would be a goner because none of my spray on removers work well at all! Then I remembered I had a new product to review and it was for doing laundry and for removing stains! 
I used Purex Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar.  I never heard of or tried this laundry bar before but it's from Purex and smells fresh and clean so I thought why not give it a try.  I wet the laundry bar and rubbed it on my shirt.  I waited about 5 minutes and wet and rubbed a little more.  I put the shirt into a small load of laundry and went about my business as usual.  When the load was done I pulled out the shirt first.  The red ziti mark was gone.  Pretty awesome huh?!  I couldn't believe I had never heard or seen this marvelous laundry bar before.  I wanted to make sure you all know about it so you have another option for a stain remover needs.
