Hi lovelies! I am back again with a review about 20 Mule Team Borax! Now Borax is not a product that you always hear lots about but it is a product that my family has be using for years! If you don't know about Borax let me fill you in:
- Borax is 100% natural mineral from the Earth.Borax is the common name for sodium tetraborate-a naturally occurring substance produced by the perpetual evaporation of seasonal lakes. Once removed from the ground it is washed, dried, and boxed for consumers. There is nothing added to it!
- Borax naturally softens hard water. Hard water affects the cleaning of your clothes!
- Borax also boosts your detergent. All you have to do is add 1/2 cup of Borax to every load. It will help keep stains from being re-deposited back onto clothes (yucky)!
Now along with it's great laundry boosting properties there is something else I use Borax for and that's fleas! I know, sounds crazy right?! but whenever we have had a flea problem in our carpet, couches, rugs, etc we put down the Borax and leave it for a few days and then vacuum it up. It has always helped us get rid of any infestations we may have had. I hope that tip helps someone.
